Binat Danielle Yeshivah
Binat Danielle Yeshivah is a dedicated yeshivah high school for adolescent boys and young men aged 14 to 21 with complex motor disabilities. As the only institution of its kind in Israel, the Yeshivah offers a unique educational and therapeutic framework—a holistic environment that addresses students’ physical, emotional, and intellectual needs within one integrated yeshiva-style setting.
A First-of-Its-Kind Yeshivah
Binat Danielle is Israel’s pioneering and only rehabilitative-educational yeshivah. Before its founding, adolescents with complex motor disabilities were forced to choose between their religious lifestyle and educational aspirations, and the comprehensive rehabilitative care they needed— often resulting in their exclusion from both types of framework. In 2018, Meshi established Binat Danielle to break that cycle.
Presently, around 24 students receive full rehabilitative continuity at Binat Danielle —without compromising their religious, intellectual, or personal aspirations. They learn within a traditional yeshivah-style structure and social environment, interwoven with multidimensional, individualized programs based on the Meshi Approach and the WHO’s ICF model for health and functioning.
True Preparation for Adulthood
A core objective at Binat Danielle is to equip students with essential social and daily living skills, fostering their independent living competencies as they transition into adulthood. Each student receives an individualized habilitation and rehabilitation plan, tailored to their specific needs and built on a strong partnership between the student, their family, and the professional staff.
The multidisciplinary team places special emphasis on developing students’ life skills and emotional resilience. Significant resources are dedicated to preparing students for meaningful community participation—ranging from supported employment opportunities to adapted vocational and leisure pathways such as music, DJing, and computer applications.
Tailored, Holistic Care
Binat Danielle applies the Meshi Approach in alignment with the WHO’s multi-dimensional health perspective and the ICF model—grounded in multidisciplinary teamwork that views each student holistically and within the full context of life. This collaboration enables the design of unified therapy and rehabilitation programs, while reinforcing the vital partnership between parents, staff, and students. To promote optimal progress, teams focus on accessible environments—physical, academic, and programmatic—leveraging innovative technologies and developing advanced solutions. Alongside the cultivation of essential life and social skills, the Yeshiva fosters a vibrant setting that integrates core academics, classic yeshiva studies, social activities, and diverse vocational opportunities.
