Schools for Children and Youth

Meshi’s schools provide a comprehensive educational, rehabilitative, and therapeutic framework for children and adolescents with various motor disabilities. Each classroom is led by a dedicated, multidisciplinary team—creating holistic, individualized plans for every child, age group, and cognitive level. The teams focus on fostering every child’s self-expression, optimal functioning, and meaningful participation in everyday life—while ensuring an empowering, age-appropriate experience of childhood and adolescence. Special emphasis is placed on fostering learning abilities, emotional resilience, life skills, social inclusion, and preparation for independent living.

Meshi School in Jerusalem

Founded in 2004, Meshi’s Jerusalem School provides a comprehensive educational, rehabilitative, and therapeutic framework for approximately 65 students across two divisions:

Students are grouped in small class settings according to age and cognitive level, creating a structure that is both individualized and socially engaging. The Upper Division offers tailored programs focused on employment and leisure pathways—broadening opportunities and fostering greater independence in adulthood. To ensure continuity of care for adolescent boys as well, Meshi established Binat Danielle Yeshivah in 2019 – the first educational-rehabilitative yeshivah in Israel.

Meshi School in Bnei Brak

Operating since 2019, Meshi’s growing elementary school in Bnei Brak brings its holistic care model closer to families in central Israel. The school serves around 50 children aged 6 to 13, in small classes grouped by age and cognitive level.

A Multi-dimensional Care

Guided by the Meshi Approach and the WHO’s multidimensional health framework (ICF model), our schools employ a dedicated, transdisciplinary team approach that provides a holistic perspective on each child across all aspects of life. The teams design treatment and rehabilitation plans as a cohesive professional circle, emphasizing continuous collaboration with parents, staff, and children. To facilitate optimal progress, the approach focuses on accessible physical, educational, and programmatic environments, and incorporating innovative technologies and costumed solutions. It prioritizes life and social skills development following the SEL model, alongside a vibrant school experience that integrates core academic subjects with social activities and artistic programs.
